Erased ‘Erase Her’ Risograph art print

Risograph A3 print in Black and Fluoro Pink

Opening with the quote from Margaret Thatcher’s Conservative Party 1987 conference speech and then following with the Section 28 legislation, this poster reinterprets the state-sanctioned homophobia of the 1980s into a life-affirming mantra by censoring key wording to reverse the intended meaning.

Redesigned by Peter Collins from James McDermott’s poetry pamphlet Erased, each featuring one of the most attention-grabbing and empowering erasure poems, chosen by James.

Risograph printed in black and Fluoro Pink inks. We’ve affectionately renamed the pink “Aggressively Homosexual Fuchsia” which hopefully gives an impression into the brightness of the pink.
