We're happy to offer our products to international customers, but as a small company we're still finding our feet. Below are details that you will find useful when placing orders to be shipped outside of the UK.

EU delivery

Due to Brexit and the changes to how VAT is paid within the EU we’re currently unable to post to the EU. We think it’s ridiculous how we’re unable to post to our closest geographical neighbours and how it’s gone from being a free trading group to being such an unknown and complicated system to try and navigate. It’s sadly just outside of our control and we can’t afford the threat of returned parcels which has been an issue for many independent publishers.

We are very keen to work with EU stockists as a workaround for this issue, especially independent and queer bookshops, to stock our books. Please get in touch if you’re interested in stocking our products.

Rest of the world delivery: £14.95

We currently offer international delivery to the following countries: Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the USA. We’re hoping to add more countries soon. Please bear with us and also get in touch if you’d like us to prioritise shipping to countries not currently mentioned.

VAT

The prices payable for goods are as set out in the website, inclusive of VAT where applicable (books are currently zero rated in the UK). Customers ordering for delivery outside of the UK will be responsible for payment of any local taxes payable including VAT, and will be required to pay extra for delivery and clearance where necessary.

Customs charges

If you are ordering goods for delivery outside of the UK, please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be paid by you.

It is accepted by you that Polari Press has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance.

Polari Press recommend that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your online order. You will be the importer of record and responsible for any import VAT and duty that needs to be paid. In addition, any charges for import clearance will be paid by you, the customer.
